Allen, TX - Caleb Smith, a 5’10, 150-pound wide receiver from Allen High School, is making waves in the high school football scene as a 3-star recruit for the class of 2026. Smith’s journey into football began at an early age, influenced heavily by his father. "I first began playing football when I was 5 years old. My dad was the main reason I got involved into football and many other sports activities. Since a young age, we always used to watch college football games together," he recalls.

Smith's dedication to his craft is evident in his rigorous training regimen. Apart from working with his high school coaches, he also collaborates with various trainers to hone his skills. "I always train with Justin Robinson to work on my route running. I also train with my youth football coach to work on my hands and catching the ball. I run track, so I train with my track trainer named DJ," Smith explains.

The recruiting process for Smith has been a whirlwind, picking up significantly after his impressive sophomore season. "Going into the 8th grade, my recruiting process started, where I received my first offer. I have received offers from Arkansas, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Texas Tech, Utah, Baylor, Houston, etc.," Smith says. Although he has yet to single out a standout college, he plans to commit before his senior year or possibly sooner.

Preparing for the upcoming football season involves a disciplined off-season routine for Smith. "My routine is I lift weights in the morning, afternoon speed training, and after that, I work on football-related things. Sundays, I usually take care of my body and rest," he outlines, emphasizing the importance of a balanced approach to training and recovery.

Off the field, Smith has a vibrant life filled with music, video games, and community involvement. "I am a huge fan of Drake's music and R&B. I love playing video games in my spare time like Call of Duty, Madden, and 2K," he shares.

With his talent, dedication, and balanced lifestyle, Caleb Smith is undoubtedly a name to watch in the coming years. As he continues to develop his skills and navigate the recruiting process, his future in football looks incredibly promising.
