"One of my proudest accomplishments was winning the Best Defensive Back Player award for our 9th grade team. I also led my team in touchdowns as a wide receiver and interceptions," he revealed. These accomplishments serve as a testament to his versatility and skill on the field.

When asked about his playing style and strengths, Copeland humbly expressed, "I try to be a sponge, soaking up knowledge from older players and my coaches. I bring my A-game to the field, always striving to learn as much as I can." His eagerness to learn and his commitment to continuous improvement set him apart as a dedicated and promising player.

With his remarkable performance catching the attention of numerous colleges, Copeland has found himself in the midst of a bustling recruitment process. "Florida State, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Oregon, Oklahoma, and Florida are among the schools showing strong interest in me," Copeland said. He keeps regular contact with coaches, who are eager to bring him on campus for visits and camps. As he considers his options for college football, Copeland emphasizes the importance of specific factors such as academics, program quality, and the overall fit for his future.

Recalling the early stages of his recruitment journey, Copeland stated, "I received my first offer from FAMU during my 9th grade football season, and since then, things have taken off. It's still early for me, but the journey has been amazing, and I eagerly anticipate what lies ahead in the next three years."

Balancing academics and athletics is no easy feat, but Copeland places his academic pursuits as a top priority. "Grades always come first because without them, you can't play football. My family ensures I prioritize my studies, making sure classroom performance precedes anything else," he emphasized. This disciplined approach to maintaining a balance between his education and football sets a solid foundation for Copeland's future success.

Copeland also acknowledges the influence of significant figures in his development as a football player. "My head coach, Shelton Felton, keeps me motivated and pushes me to be my best. He has believed in me since my early high school days," he said. Copeland also credits Joshua Norwood, a former defensive back, who has worked with him since 8th grade, shaping him into a formidable cornerback.

Looking ahead to his next high school football season, Copeland has set ambitious goals and aims to leave a lasting legacy. "I want to be a 5-Star All-American Cornerback in my senior year. I aspire to reach the state championship with my teammates and win the Defense Player of the Year award," he shared. Copeland intends to inspire underclassmen to be the best they can be and to set a great example for future players.

Outside of football, Copeland has aspirations beyond the gridiron. "My goal is to take care of my family, especially my mother, and acquire a quality education," he expressed through a strong fist pump.
